Literal: Latin American Voices opens today its pages with a double intention: to become a forum where the Latin American artistic expressions come together and, more importantly, to open a space for new voices to express themselves.

In Literal, as its name suggests, we will respect the primary sense of the expressions that are shaped here, convinced that it is to the reader to whom corresponds the interpretation of them, turning our collaborations into artistic expressions.

Thus Literal will be a place for the critique and diffusion of the Latin American art in its most generous sense, also recognizing the possibility of becoming a voice of forced reference for the understanding of the ample cultural universe that meets no longer under only one language, but sheltered under the shade of a similar spirit.

Literal: Voces latinoamericanas abre hoy sus páginas con un doble propósito: convertirse en un foro donde confluyan las expresiones artísticas latinoamericanas más importantes y, a la vez, abrir un espacio que permita a las nuevas voces encontrar un sitio donde expresarse.

En Literal, como su nombre lo indica, habremos de respetar el sentido primario de las expresiones que aquí se plasmen, convencidos de que es al lector a quien corresponde otorgarles la interpretación que convertirá nuestras colaboraciones en expresiones artísticas.

Así también, Literal dará cabida a la crítica y difusión del arte latinoamericano en su sentido más generoso, atisbando la posibilidad de convertirse, también, en una voz de referencia obligada para la comprensión del amplio universo cultural que se reúne ahora ya no bajo una misma lengua, sino cobijados a la sombra de un espíritu similar.
