Jesús Silva Herzog Márquez

Literal Magazine was proud to present author and intellectual Jesús Silva-Herzog Márquez who discussed the upcoming Mexican Elections to a packed audience in Houston, TX. This event was organized by Literal and The World Affair Council.

 

 

 Jesús Silva-Herzog Márquez, born in Mexico City, 1965, is a professor at Escuela de Gobierno y Transformación Pública (School of Government and Public Transformation) of the Tecnológico de Monterrey. He studied Law at Mexico’s National University and completed graduate studies at Columbia University in New York. He has been a Woodrow Wilson International Scholar and a visiting researcher at Georgetown University, Columbia University, and the New School University. Furthermore, he is the author of a weekly-syndicated column featured in the newspaper Reforma and has written several books discussing Mexican politics and political theory. His recent book, The Idiocy of Perfection, has been translated into English for extended reach.
